801 MT COY ASC

The 801st was a Corps Troop Supply company attached to XVI Corps, this meant that the company’s primary responsibility was to supply the Surrey Yeomanry, the Derbyshire Yeomanry and the XVI Corps Cyclist Battalion. However during the two and a half years that the company was active on the Salonika front it supported many more units including; Royal Engineers, Casualty Clearing Stations, Field Ambulances, Infantry Battalions, Anti Aircraft Sections and Armoured Batteries.
